Dan Strand MSc

Dan Strand, MSc, is a strategic, values-driven health and safety leader with over 20 years of experience. They began their career as a Plant Operator at Lehigh Hanson and later held various positions, including Manager of Health and Safety at the Vancouver Airport Authority and Director of Prevention Field Services at WorkSafeBC. Dan is currently the Executive Director of Health, Wellness, Safety, and Ability Management at Island Health - Vancouver Island Health Authority and the Director of Workplace Health and Safety for Amazon Canada NACF. Dan holds a BSc in Biology, Microbiology from the University of Alberta and an MSc in Occupational Hygiene from the University of British Columbia.
