Daria Bakina

Daria Bakina, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at Amazon, where they focus on customer experience and business trends. They previously held roles including Research Director at Edelman Data & Intelligence and Senior Research Manager at Edelman Intelligence, where they executed research projects to inform strategic brand positioning. Daria served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the State University of New York at Oswego, teaching various psychology courses and supervising research assistants. They began their academic career as a Course Instructor at Syracuse University, where they taught courses in psychology and conducted research on social psychological topics. Daria earned their MS and PhD in Social Psychology from Syracuse University and a BA in Psychology, Women’s Studies, and Russian Language and Literature from Purdue University.
