Darragh Merrick

Darragh Merrick is a skilled security engineer with experience in high-stakes environments. Darragh has been with Amazon since March 2020, contributing to the Amazon InfoSec and Amazon Go teams. Prior to this role, Darragh served in the Irish Defence Forces for over two decades, focusing on Network Operations Center (NOC) and Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) functions. Darragh holds a Master’s Degree in Forensic Computing & Cybercrime Investigation from University College Dublin and possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, along with an Associate’s Degree in Leadership, Management, and Defence from the same institution.
