Darshan Kumar

Darshan Kumar is currently a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, a position held since July 2025, following a successful internship with the company in mid-2024 that resulted in a pre-placement offer. Prior to Amazon, Darshan was a student at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from November 2021 to August 2025, where a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering was pursued alongside minors in Machine Learning, Data Science, and Computer Science. Darshan's experience also includes serving as a Controls Subsystem Engineer at Exofly IIT Bombay and participating in a prestigious pre-incubation program at the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship, where one of 16 teams was selected from over 10,000 applicants. Additionally, content creation for the OLI-NSS YouTube channel was undertaken to produce educational videos in Hindi. Notable achievements include designing an efficient algorithm that significantly reduced duplicate invoice traffic during the internship at Amazon.
