David Porter

David Porter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and business development within the music and technology sectors. Currently serving as Principal Product Manager at Amazon since November 2020, David leads the "Community & Fandom" product team for the Music Customer Experience. David is also an Advisor and President at Feature.fm, a music marketing platform, and previously founded and served as CEO of NextUp and 8tracks, the latter being a prominent social music platform. Earlier roles include General Manager and Director of Business Development at Live365, where David focused on strategic planning and partnerships, and a marketing internship at Liquid Audio. David holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, along with additional MBA coursework at Columbia University.
