David Yang

David Yang, Ph.D., is a Data Science Manager at Amazon, where they lead a team developing machine learning-driven solutions for fraud detection. With over 15 years of experience, Yang previously served as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, a Senior Data Scientist at Uber, and a Chief Scientist and Co-founder of Bayessoft Inc. They have a strong background in statistical learning and collaborative research in biomedical fields, having also held an Assistant Professor position at the University of California. Yang earned their Ph.D. in Biostatistics from UCLA and has advanced degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science.
