Dean Hargrave possesses extensive experience in systems engineering and enterprise storage solutions. From January 2005 to January 2008, Dean served as Senior Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, and Senior Storage Engineer at Expeditors, focusing on the design and implementation of storage area networks with various technologies including Hitachi, EMC, and IBM. Dean's expertise includes enterprise storage, server virtualization, and disaster recovery. Subsequently, from January 2017 to June 2021, Dean contributed to Amazon's global Fintech systems engineering team as a System Engineer and later as a Senior System Development Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in scalable storage and compute architectures along with performance optimization. Dean holds degrees in Computer Science from Okanagan College and has completed an internship program at UC Santa Barbara, along with further education at Santa Barbara City College.
