Di Di is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, where they tech-lead projects focused on automatic speech endpoint detection and multi-task learning for ASR auxiliary models. Previously, Di worked as a Research Engineer at NovuMind, concentrating on speech applications and hardware-friendly deep neural network architectures. Di gained experience through various internships, including roles at Inspirit IoT, NXP, and National Instruments, where they developed systems for speech recognition and audio processing. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they also completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the same field.
