Dimitri Szerman is an experienced economist with a robust academic and professional background. Szerman completed an MSc in Economics and a Ph.D. in Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Following doctoral studies, Szerman served as a PhD Candidate at the London School of Economics from August 2007 to July 2012, then worked as a Senior Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative from September 2012 to December 2018. Additionally, Szerman held the position of Lecturer at PUC-Rio from March 2013 to December 2018, and served as a Research Fellow at the University of Mannheim from January 2019 to June 2022. Currently, Szerman is employed as a Senior Economist at Amazon since September 2022.
