Dongwon Jung

Dongwon Jung is a highly skilled machine learning engineer and researcher with extensive experience in natural language processing and AI. Currently a Research Intern at Amazon with the AWS Bedrocks team, Dongwon previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at USC Information Sciences Institute, where a neural net model was designed for conditional knowledge-based reasoning, and a new dataset, CondCN, was created. As an ML Engineer at Wrtn Technologies Inc., evaluation metrics were developed for a ChatGPT-like service, and a data augmentation flywheel was built to enhance performance. Dongwon's earlier work as an Undergraduate Research Intern at Sungkyunkwan University involved creating a recommendation system using knowledge graphs, leading to significant performance improvements. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California with a perfect GPA and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University.
