Doug Simpson

Doug Simpson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Head of Product for New Initiatives at Amazon since May 2020, Doug focuses on building multi-billion dollar businesses within a decade of launch. As an Independent Consultant since June 2017, Doug advises startups on product vision, strategy, and fundraising. Previously, Doug was the CEO and Founder of Navdy, the first device enabling seamless phone integration in cars, and co-founded SmartRoam, a top grossing mobile roaming app. Doug also founded HawkEye Global, which created a successful portable gaming device for children. Academic credentials include certificates in Financial Analysis & Strategy and Global Supply Chain Management from Stanford University.
