Elise Mostad is an experienced research scientist with a background in chemistry and biochemistry. Mostad began as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Minnesota Duluth Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, focusing on copper-binding proteins in bacteria. After completing a graduate research role at the University of Minnesota Duluth Medical School, where research involved dietary copper deficiency and its effects on ceruloplasmin, Mostad transitioned to a position as Associate Scientist at Genelex. In this role, responsibilities included supervising technical reviews of test data and quality control documentation. Mostad continued to build expertise as a Scientist at Invitae, performing similar supervisory functions before joining Amazon as a Research Scientist in May 2023.
