Elzbeth Schmidt

Elzbeth Schmidt is currently the EMEA Talent Acquisition Leader for Artificial General Intelligence at Amazon, where they focus on recruiting for AGI initiatives. Prior to Amazon, they held various roles including Senior Technical Recruiter at companies such as Varian, Lockheed Martin, Fujitsu, and Google. Elzbeth also served as the Talent Acquisition Leader for AWS in EMEA, based in South Africa before relocating to Spain. They began their career overseeing the Bursary Department and University Programs at Sasol Limited. Elzbeth is pursuing a degree at the University of Pretoria.
