Emily Weiss is currently the Principal Program Manager for Sustainability at Amazon, where they lead initiatives in global water and biodiversity. They previously served as an Analyst in Special Projects and a Strategic Initiative Lead at Amazon between 2021 and 2022. Emily has an extensive academic background, having been a Mark and Nancy Ratner Professor as well as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Northwestern University from 2015 to 2023, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from 2005 to 2008. They earned their PhD in Chemistry from Northwestern University in 2005 and completed their undergraduate studies at Princeton University.
