Eunji Chong

Eunji Chong is an accomplished applied scientist with extensive experience in object detection and multi-task learning, currently serving as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon from July 2020 to December 2023. Prior to this role, Eunji contributed to research and development with a focus on human tracking, face recognition, and monocular depth estimation as an Applied Scientist on the DeviceCV team. Eunji earned a PhD in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where research involved the measurement of visual attention from videos for behavioral analysis. Additionally, a research internship at Microsoft involved developing a method based on 3D CNN for modeling user engagement. Eunji holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yonsei University.
