Farshad Koohifar

Farshad Koohifar is an experienced AI and applied science leader who currently serves as an Applied Scientist at Amazon. They have previously held significant roles, including Senior Data Scientist at Walmart and Machine Learning Engineer at Modern Hire. Farshad started their academic journey with a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, ultimately earning a Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from North Carolina State University. They also contributed as a Research Assistant at Florida International University and completed an internship focused on machine learning applications in job performance predictions.
