Fernando Lamelas

Fernando Lamelas currently serves as Head of EU Intermodal at Amazon Freight, overseeing P&L, strategy, product development, and performance for Intermodal operations. Previously, Fernando held the role of Regional Gateway Manager for Amazon Air, managing ground operations across multiple European countries. An adjunct professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Fernando teaches in the School of Engineering and Sciences. Prior experience includes positions at dnata, where Fernando was a Project Manager for an international cargo management system implementation, as well as roles in operations performance and business improvement management. Fernando’s career began with industrial engineering roles at Disney Parks & Resorts, along with internships at GE and Cemex. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and executive education from IE Business School.
