Francesco Alongi is currently serving as Corporate Counsel at Amazon. Previously, they worked as an Associate at Gianni & Origoni from 2019 to 2022, focusing on antitrust and regulatory issues. Francesco also gained valuable experience as a Teaching Assistant in Comparative Private Law at the University of Bologna and as a Cultore della materia in International Commercial Law at Università LUMSA. They participated as a Blue Book Trainee in the Directorate General for Competition at the European Commission in 2013 and practiced law as a Senior Lawyer at 3D Legal - DANDRIA Studio Legale from 2014 to 2019. Francesco holds a PhD in Comparative Private Law from Università degli Studi di Milano, as well as a Master’s degree in Law and Economics of the European Union from Université Panthéon Sorbonne.
