Gábor Mihucz

Gábor Mihucz is an applied scientist intern at Amazon, where responsibilities include investigating alternative exploration strategies in reinforcement learning within the Core Search team since September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a graduate research assistant and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Alberta from September 2020 to August 2025, focusing on computing fundamentals, reinforcement learning courses, and machine learning. Gábor also worked as an undergraduate tutor at the University of Glasgow in 2019, assisting first-year students with Python assignments. Gábor holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, expected in 2027, a Master's degree in the same field obtained in 2022, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computing Science from the University of Glasgow, completed in 2020.
