Gal Shitrit

Gal Shitrit is an Applied Scientist at Amazon Prime Video, specializing in computer vision and deep learning for video-related tasks such as video action recognition and localization. Previously, Gal worked as a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Algorithms Researcher at Guardian Optical Technologies and Buildots, where they developed algorithms for automotive safety and various deep learning tasks. Prior to that, Gal held roles at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as a Mechanical and Robotics Engineer, leading multidisciplinary research efforts in mechanical design and robotics computer vision. Gal earned both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, graduating summa cum laude.
