Giancarlo Gini is a seasoned regulatory affairs leader currently serving as the Regulatory Affairs Lead for the EU at Amazon. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of policy and commerce, Giancarlo has previously held strategic roles, including at BT Group, where they led regulatory engagement across multiple brands, and Samsung, where they negotiated significant trade and security policies. Giancarlo has advised European governments on taxation, trade, and foreign investment, and has worked with financial markets institutions to navigate evolving regulations. They hold a BA in International Relations from the London School of Economics and an MSc in International Policy Analysis from SOAS.
