Gopal Pillai

Gopal Pillai is an experienced executive with a strong background in e-commerce, product management, and technology. Currently serving as the Vice President of Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce at Amazon since December 2009, Gopal Pillai leads global teams to enhance customer return experiences and optimize recovery of returned products. Previous roles include Vice President and General Manager positions overseeing Amazon's Distribution and Fulfillment Solutions and the India Marketplace Business, as well as leadership in Consumer Electronics and AmazonWireless. Gopal Pillai also contributed to Prione Business Services as a board member focusing on empowering small and medium businesses. With prior experience in product management at BusinessWeek and technology roles at NORC and various startups, Gopal Pillai holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras.
