Gukyeong Kwon

Gukyeong Kwon is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon Artificial General Intelligence, where they are currently building foundation models. Previously, Gukyeong worked as an Applied Scientist at Amazon Web Services, developing the Amazon Titan Multimodal Embeddings model, and held relevant roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology. Gukyeong has also interned in deep learning research at Panasonic Automotive and conducted research on multimodal representation learning at AWS AI Labs. Gukyeong earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with an M.S. from the same institution and additional degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and Sungkyunkwan University.
