Haiyan Wang is currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon, focusing on visual shopping, LiveAR, and generative AI. They are also a Ph.D. candidate at The City College of New York, where they research deep learning, computer vision, and image processing under the guidance of Prof. Yingli Tian. Previously, Haiyan worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Qualcomm and as a Research Assistant at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Haiyan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications before pursuing their Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
