Haiyu Yao

Haiyu Yao is a Senior Software Development Engineer at AWS, where they lead design reviews and feature development while driving operational excellence. Previously, Haiyu held roles at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, where they developed backend data processing systems and optimized code, and at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they led a team in managing client asset data and created tools to enhance productivity. Haiyu also worked at Amazon, designing innovative machine learning solutions and earning a patent for a customizable translation system. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics at East China Normal University and a Master of Computer Science at North Carolina State University.
