Haya Arfat

Haya Arfat is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Cybersecurity from the SANS Technology Institute. Haya gained valuable experience as a Security Engineer Intern at Amazon, focusing on Identity and Access Management with a project centered on authentication systems. Subsequently, Haya served as an Apprentice Incident Handler at the SANS Internet Storm Center, analyzing cyber threats and enhancing communication skills. Additionally, Haya played a pivotal role as Scholarship Assistance Director at the National Cyber Scholarship Foundation, developing the Cyber FastTrack scholarship program and expanding access to cybersecurity training for over 30,000 students across more than 160 universities. Haya also contributed as a Student Technician at the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center, participating in a student-led cyber range team to explore various cybersecurity tools and techniques.
