Hitesh Arora is currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon, focusing on developing solutions in Generative AI with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision Foundation Models (VFMs) to enhance knowledge operations efficiency. Hitesh earned a Master's in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), where they worked on deep reinforcement learning algorithms for self-driving projects. Prior to CMU, Hitesh spent three years at Microsoft as a Software Engineer II, creating scalable distributed solutions for cloud users, and co-founded the Charvesting project to address pollution in Delhi, securing a government grant for a pilot initiative. Hitesh also holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Guwahati and has completed internships at prestigious institutions such as MIT and UQ.
