Hui Liang

Hui Liang is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, where they have contributed significantly to the development of the Just-Walk-Out (JWO) technology since 2018. They received their PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2016. Prior to their current role, Hui worked as a Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University and as a Scientist at A*STAR, applying computer vision to various domains, including medical devices and virtual reality applications. Their research interests encompass action recognition, object detection, person tracking, and pose estimation.
