Hyun Yeul Lee

Hyun Yeul Lee is a seasoned design executive currently serving as the VP of Design for Devices & Services at Amazon since July 2021. Prior to this role, Hyun Yeul Lee held significant positions at Samsung Electronics, including Founder and Head of the NYC Global UX Studio and Corporate VP of UX for the HQ Mobile Business, where Hyun Yeul Lee notably founded the One UI core design system and contributed to the core UI/UX design for the Fold series. Hyun Yeul Lee's academic background includes a Ph.D. and S.M. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Lab, an MDes in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BFA and BID in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.
