Islam Azeddine

Islam Azeddine is an experienced Application Security Engineer at Amazon, responsible for conducting security reviews and assessments of internal applications since November 2023. As an OWASP Algeria Leader since November 2011, Islam has played a key role in leading the OWASP Algeria Chapter and engaging in various projects and talks. Prior experiences include serving as Security Awareness Lead at Thomson Reuters, overseeing the application security training strategy, and working as an IT Security Consultant at HartNamtemah, where Islam developed IT security strategies for startups. Earlier roles include a Security Consultant position at Learneo L'Alternative Formation, focusing on penetration testing and information security consultancy, and a strong educational foundation with a Post-Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security from York University and a Master’s Degree in Networks and Distributed Systems from Abdelhamid Mehri University Constantine 2.
