James Huang is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend distributed systems and full-stack development. Since October 2025, James has been working at Amazon on subscription services. Prior to Amazon, James contributed to the Level M SaaS platform at Level Home from September 2023 to October 2025 and was involved in the backend distributed system for LatchOS at LATCH from 2022 to September 2023. Earlier experience includes developing a Network Management System for Hughes, supporting over 1 million users, and serving as an undergraduate teaching assistant at the University of Maryland under renowned professors. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math from the University of Maryland.
