James Lyons is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial law and contract negotiations within the technology and satellite industries. Currently serving as Contract Counsel for Amazon, James provides legal guidance for Amazon Leo, a low Earth orbit satellite service, while previously holding the position of Vice President, Commercial Legal at SES Satellites, where significant contributions included leading complex contract negotiations and developing innovative contracting strategies. James also held key legal roles at O3B Networks as Senior Legal Counsel, as well as various positions at Amazon, Microsoft, and Perkins Coie, showcasing a robust background in corporate law, business development, and transactional practices.
