Jamil Haque

Research Scientist

Jamil Haque is an experienced research scientist with a robust background in the fields of medicinal chemistry and immuno-oncology. From 2010 to 2014, Jamil served as a Research Scientist 4 at the University of Washington's Department of Medicinal Chemistry, focusing on P450 mediated drug and vitamin metabolism. Prior to that, Jamil was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology at the University of Washington from 2004 to 2009, engaging in in vivo research on liver cancer and metabolic disease, alongside in vitro studies on oxidative stress pathways. Jamil's industry experience includes roles at OncoSec Medical Inc. as a Scientist from 2014 to 2016, conducting research on immuno-oncology therapeutics, and as a Senior Scientist at Sound Biologics from November 2016 to January 2025, where Jamil engineered antibodies for various applications. Currently, Jamil is a Research Scientist at Amazon, beginning in December 2024. Jamil holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Developmental Biology from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
