Jannis T. Werner is a seasoned in-house legal counsel with extensive experience in both German and U.S. law. They have served as Corporate Counsel at Amazon since 2022, following their role as Senior Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP from 2015 to 2022. Jannis has also worked as Legal Counsel for Wunder Carpool and held various positions in prestigious legal firms and institutions, including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Allen & Overy. They pursued their legal education at Harvard Law School, where they earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.), and are currently completing the First and Second State Examinations in Germany.
