Jason Ruiz is a Senior Corporate Counsel leading Amazon's Global Store Fraud efforts within the Customer Protection and Enforcement team. They focus on investigating schemes targeting Amazon's customers and partners, overseeing complex fraud investigations, and implementing enforcement strategies. Prior to Amazon, Jason served as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Litigation at the U.S. Department of Justice, where they prosecuted serious drug and money laundering offenses, earning numerous awards for their work. Jason also gained experience as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, trying violent felony cases. They hold a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where they contributed as a Notes and Articles Editor for the journal and were involved in the Moot Court Board.
