Jawaun Jalil

Jawaun Jalil is a global security leader with over 15 years of experience, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, AI, and product management. Currently serving as the Head of Global Business Unit Information Security at Amazon, Jawaun spearheads security initiatives across numerous business lines. Previously, they held positions such as Principal, Global M&A Security at Amazon and Chief Information Security Officer at ERC, where they led diverse security teams and collaborated closely with executive leadership. Jawaun also served as a Director of Information Security Engineering at H.I.G. Capital and as a Principal Cybersecurity Operations Engineer at Dell SecureWorks, advising top executives on strategic security measures. Jawaun holds an MBA and MSc from the University of Maryland University College.
