Jayakrishnan Unnikrishnan

Jayakrishnan Unnikrishnan is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, currently leading efforts on foundational models for video understanding. Previously, Jayakrishnan held various engineering and research roles at companies including Qualcomm and GE Global Research, where specific contributions included algorithm design for autonomous driving and developing statistical inference models for industrial machinery. With a strong academic background, Jayakrishnan is pursuing a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, following a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
