Jeff Sorensen

Jeff Sorensen is a Senior Economist and Team Lead in Amazon's B2B Payments and Lending division. They manage a team that focuses on causal inference and economic problems, supporting FinTech and credit products for Amazon's business customers and sellers. They previously held positions as a Senior Economist and Economist at Amazon, developing models for credit products and optimizing their impact. Earlier in their career, Jeff worked as a teaching and research assistant at Brigham Young University and UC Berkeley. They earned their degree from the University of California, Berkeley, between 2011 and 2017.
