Jianshu Chen

Jianshu Chen is a Principal Scientist at Amazon, focusing on the development and advancement of Large Language Models with an emphasis on compositional generalization and reasoning capabilities. Previously, they served as a Principal Researcher at Tencent Americas, where they led projects on neural architectures and instruction tuning for large language models, and as a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research, contributing to reinforcement learning and natural language processing. Jianshu earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a Master’s degree from Tsinghua University, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Harbin Institute of Technology. Their research has been published in top machine learning venues, reflecting a strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams on complex AI challenges.
