Jielong Xu is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure and distributed data processing. At Palo Alto Networks, from March 2020 to March 2022, Jielong served as a Principal Engineer, leading the design and implementation of a globally distributed website crawling and security analysis platform, as well as a Passive DNS indexing and real-time querying infrastructure. Prior to this, Jielong held positions as Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Engineer, focusing on the development of an on-prem distributed data processing platform that included customizing the Spark scheduler.
