Jinfeng Xiao is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in bioinformatics, machine learning, and data mining. Serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2014 to February 2025, Jinfeng engaged in various research projects. Previous roles include a Research Scientist Intern at Dow AgroSciences, where a software for predicting protein-protein interactions was developed, and a Research Intern at Microsoft, developing a system for conference reviewer recommendations. Additional internships at Adobe and Microsoft focused on advanced machine learning techniques.
