Joe Cardoza PhD is an accomplished user researcher with experience in both corporate and academic settings. At Microsoft, Joe served as a mixed method user researcher for Mixer.com from October 2017 to November 2019. Subsequently, at Amazon in January 2021, Joe held the position of Senior User Researcher, where responsibilities included leading user research initiatives for Alexa Domains and working with cross-team collaboration to shape product roadmaps. Joe also contributed as a Senior User Researcher at Prime Gaming, performing quantitative and qualitative research to inform product strategy. Prior academic experience includes designing fMRI and behavioral experiments at the University of Arizona, where Joe obtained both a PhD and Master’s Degree in Cognitive Psychology.
