John Perkins

John Perkins is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in packaging design and automation. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Amazon, John is responsible for leading initiatives in packaging technology. Prior to this role, John held various executive positions at WestRock Company, including Vice President of Packaging Machinery & Automation, where they spearheaded global efforts in automated packaging solutions. John also contributed significantly to MeadWestvaco in multiple leadership roles, focusing on business development, marketing, and innovation in packaging systems. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
