John Tagawa

John Tagawa is an experienced operations executive with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management. Currently serving as VP of North American Operations at Amazon since July 2017, John leads Middle and Last Mile operations across North America, the EU, and Japan. Previously, John held the role of VP of EU Amazon Logistics, focusing on Last Mile operations in the EU. Prior to Amazon, John was VP of Operations at SkyBitz, where responsibilities included developing supply chain and logistics strategies, and at Kyocera Wireless, John directed operations quality while managing various aspects of production and logistics. John began his career as a Project Engineer at Chromalloy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
