John Tagawa

John Tagawa is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in logistics and operations management, currently serving as Vice President of North American Operations at Amazon since May 2008. Tagawa has held multiple leadership roles at Amazon, including Vice President of Amazon Logistics for both North America and the EU, as well as overseeing UK Operations. Prior to Amazon, Tagawa was with SkyBitz where responsibilities included developing and directing supply chain and logistics operations. Earlier experience includes roles at Kyocera Wireless managing worldwide operations quality and at Chromalloy as a Project Engineer. Tagawa holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
