Jonathan Foley

Jonathan Foley is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon since September 2019, contributing to the Alexa Audio Experience and Twitch Monetization. Prior to Amazon, Jonathan held the Senior Applied Scientist position at Twitch, where notable achievements included establishing machine learning practices in Commerce and Ads and driving complex monetization projects. As the Head of ML/AI at Uncommon Co., Jonathan developed their innovative AI-driven recruiting platform, Uncommon IQ™. Earlier experience as the Founding/Lead Machine Learning Scientist at Rocksbox involved building a comprehensive data science stack and creating advanced recommendation systems. Jonathan's career also includes leadership roles at Gild, focusing on large-scale predictive modeling for developer scoring. Jonathan holds a PhD and BS in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where research work spanned biological systems and biosensor development.
