Joseph Aoun is a Computer Science engineering student with experience in teaching and machine learning. As a Teacher Assistant at the American University of Beirut from January 2022 to August 2024, Joseph taught courses in programming and algorithms, managing large classes and grading assignments. Following this role, Joseph served as a Machine Learning Intern at Ubilite in June 2024, where a TinyML face detection model was successfully deployed on a microchip, and significant optimization of the MobileNet model was achieved. Currently, Joseph is employed as a Software Engineer at Amazon since July 2025, focusing on Network-Core R&D. Joseph is also pursuing an exchange program at Boston University in Computer Science from 2024 to 2025, alongside a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the American University of Beirut, set to complete in 2025.
