Julie Kim has a diverse background in social performance and sustainability, beginning with internships at Guidepoint Global and the Columbia Center for Sustainable International Investment in 2009. Between 2010 and 2013, Julie worked as a Research Analyst at the Sustainable Minerals Institute and held various roles at Oxfam America from 2015 to 2018, focusing on extractive industries. Julie served as Acting Managing Director at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation from 2021 to 2022 and currently holds the position of Senior Human Rights and Environment Manager at Amazon since 2025. Julie earned a B.A. in Anthropology and Sustainable Development from Columbia University and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School, Tufts University.
