Kaylan Sanders is an active member of several organizations at the University of South Carolina, including Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity as Service Vice President and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as Administrative Vice President, both since April 2024. Kaylan also serves as a peer leader in University 101 and Changing Carolina, and is a member of the Black Medical Student Association and the Carolina Judicial Council, which adjudicates conduct and academic integrity cases. Previous experience includes working as a Physical Therapy Aide at THERX PHYSICAL THERAPY & PAIN MANAGEMENT, where responsibilities involved strategic planning and patient care, and currently holds a position as a Work Place Health & Safety Specialist at Amazon, focusing on safety audits and data collection. Kaylan is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health, expected in 2025.
