Keivan Majidi possesses extensive experience in applied science and machine learning, with key roles at Amazon from May 2018 to September 2021, including Sr. Manager and Sr. Machine Learning Scientist. Prior to Amazon, Keivan served as CTO at Wavelet Health in 2016 and held the position of Algorithm Engineer at Amiigo from February 2014 to January 2016, focusing on cardio activity recognition algorithms and a swimming recognition system. Keivan began a career in research as a Research Assistant at the Medical Imaging Research Center at IIT from August 2005 to December 2013, developing imaging algorithms in C++ and MATLAB. Keivan holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, completed in 2013 and 2008, respectively.
