Kel Mederer

Kel Mederer is an experienced professional in aviation safety and program management, currently serving as a Senior Program Manager for Air Safety Programs at Amazon Air since March 2021. Previously, Mederer held the role of Senior Director of Safety at dnata, overseeing safety compliance and incident investigations while leading initiatives for sustainability and diversity. Mederer's background includes positions at Signature Flight Support, Tallahassee International Airport, and PB03 Environmental, with a focus on data analysis, safety improvement, and regulatory compliance. As an Ambassador for One Young World, Mederer represents BBA Aviation and contributes to sustainable development initiatives. Mederer holds a Master of Science in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida State University.
